Hong Kong is one of the most interesting cities I have ever visited. HK was an English province until 1997, thereafter given to China with the exception of the rules and regulations, which will remain according to English control. Come 2047 the Chinese government will have full control of this thriving city. Collaborating together, the Chinese and English mix makes this one of the most unique and interesting cities in the world. Full of vibrance, excitement and an evolved view on system and method. Standing in the streets you’ll be surrounded by skyscrapers, bombarded with double decker red buses (steering wheels on the right instead of the left), and delicious fusion food spots everywhere. Unlike most thriving international meccas Hong Kong is very specific in the race that inhabits it, 95% of Hong Kong is of Asian decent and 5% of other. I throughly enjoy Hong Kong and even find myself dreaming of an apartment here. The city is polite and very forward in numerous ways, including: technology, fashion, design, and innovation. Aside from all this I think the most special part is the energy that Hong Kong exudes, 7 million people on one small island all pushing forward at one time, this is momentum. More photos.
