Even more fitting is the products we are offering, which includes technical products suited for the snow as well as apparel designed for all-terrain use. From a flannel-lined 5 panel complete with ear flaps, to an asymmetrical snowboard dubbed “The Helix,” the Akomplice x Ride Snowboard collection was developed with the complete journey in mind. From stepping out the front door to stepping in at the mountain’s peak we have you covered. In addition to a weather-proof jacket, the collection includes a hearty buffalo check flannel shirt, whose pattern extends to t-shirts, crew necks, and even the lining of the varsity down jacket. Our signature touches also grace “The Helix” snowboard in the form of magical plants that adorn both the board’s top and underside. Developed with ergonomics in mind, the board’s shape is based on the asymmetry of the human body. The collaborative boots make use of proprietary technology dubbed Slime Tongue™, which allows for enhanced forward flex. HELIX (the snowboard):
It’s basic ergonomics that the toe and heel side of the body are different, why should your sidecuts be the same? The Helix snowboard offers perfect balance in the turn with different radii for each, and allows you to get more out of your turns with less effort.
