This is a Time Warp. Let’s jump back to 4/20/11 when I landed in Charolette. I had never met any of the BlackSheep crew in person. For anyone who doesn’t know BlackSheep, they are a long time Akomplice retailer who we’ve collaborated with in the past. Oh yeah, and they run Charolette, no joke. So, after four years of business I figured it was time I stopped in for a visit. What I experienced was the idea and definition of a skate family. This click is tight, you see BlackSheep shirts all over any skate spot, and the whole city follows their movement.
Big shouts to Akomplice’s long time team rider Diego Troya. He graced the entrance of our website for a long time with that ill pool photo. Another big shout to Markie Clements who just joined the AK family and is one of the gnarliest rippers I have seen. We can’t leave out the homie Brandon, who is like the team manager of this click.
