Perception manifests reality. That was the guiding theme for our collaboration with Umbro. In the collection, clothing became the medium to discuss this concept. Each word and garment represents the duality between fear and love, control and trust, hate and compassion, greed and gratitude. The intention was to create a constant reminder of the choice we have in perception and the greater goal of a root transformation. We were inspired by looking deep into the human psyche and finding the root cause of how we manifest our realities in daily life. Through the collection, we seek to create wearable contemporary art that invites a dialogue between those who wear it and those who see it.

This garment was naturally dyed by hand in Paonia, Colorado. Natural plant dyes can be a beautiful and safe alternative to the now common synthetic dyes containing harmful carcinogens, heavy metals, and hormone disrupting chemicals. The negative human and environmental impacts of the trillion-dollar textile industry and synthetic dyes are astounding. HAND DYED BY CREATURE COLLECTIVE IN PAONIA, COLORADO

For our latest collaborative undertaking, we joined forces with Synchrodogs, a visceral and raw Ukrainian photography collective. Shot in Ukraine by Synchrodogs, the collab collection consists of long and short-sleeved tees, a zippo, skate deck and a baseball/vintage hat fusion. More than the lookbook, Synchrodogs shot the imagery adorned on the shirts, which was then chopped, manipulated and designed over by the Akomplice crew. The project marks a marriage between photography and graphic design through the medium of apparel. Together with Synchrodogs, we sought to bring dreamlike qualities to real-life environments.

More than a considered collection, we delivered another advance towards sustainability with this latest capsule. All black and white tees were made using USA grown organic cotton and were cut, sewn, printed and finished in the USA, which marks a major manufacturing feat.
