 For the next 6 weeks on every Thursday and Sunday we will be dropping a new themed capsule collection. This Thursday will be the kick off with the Shades of Mono capsule. Stay tuned.

Continuing to blaze the exploratory path on which our brand was founded, this creative endeavor comes in the form of short video shot on the streets of São Paulo, which lifts the veil on the rarely seen nuances of Brazilian street/art culture. The attached video teaser serves to set the scene for our upcoming tri-branded capsule collection with Brazilian based brands Aesthetic and Ease. Within the 1:47 montage, you are provided a slice of life of storied Brazilian street artist, and founder of Ease, SLIKS. Hailing from the favellas of São Paulo, SLIKS allows for a brief peek into his daily and nightly routine. From skating the streets of São Paulo to updating their walls with fresh paint, SLIKS explains that “you might leave the streets, but [they] never leave you.” Directed by Gabriel Cupaiolo and Levi Vatavuk of DOM Films, the video is set to the musical stylings of Elo da Corrente. The unseen collaborative offerings are set to drop in early 2015.

Our latest lookbook eschews the ordinary. For our collaborative collection with Ride Snowboards, we delve deep into the subconscious with an interpretive lookbook that transports the audiences to the far reaches of the mind. Drawing inspiration, literal and figurative, from the magic flowers that adorn the co-branded snowboard, boots, and weather-resistant jacket, Akomplice imagines another universe. Traversing sand dunes and walking on water, we present an alternative reality not bound by the laws of physics. From flannel-lined down jackets, water proof shells and ear-flapped 5 panels to snowboards, boots and bindings the collaborative collection is suited for all arenas. As evidenced by the lookbook, the collection is truly built for any adventure.
