Akomplice x South Of France

We came together with South Of France through a mutual admiration for creation. We are both independently owned and operated and we are both from Colorado, so the collab happened naturally. Jeff Cormack, one of the SOF members, became a homie when he modeled for our Summer 2014 Lookbook, “Marijuana for the Future.” Jeff also worked at one of our favorite Colorado retailers, Installation, so he knew our world well. This collaboration came to fruition when Jeff previewed us his “Washed Out” single and said we should do a collab. Together we drew inspiration for the duffel bag from the custom one of one Louis Vuitton luggage set featured in Wes Anderson’s “The Darjeeling Limited.” The capsule includes a duffel bag, field notebook, and the coup de grace, a custom white 45 record featuring the band’s single “Washed Out” on the B side, and “Civilization” on the A side. This will drop at 11 pm EST on our webstore. The songs are also available on iTunes for digital purchase. and on Spotify for streaming via Jeff’s label, Play + Record. VSOP Winter Lookbook
Focused on quality construction and curated material selection, we at Akomplice have made a statement with our Winter VSOP line. Drawing on the tenets of meticulous curation, our VSOP Winter Collection employs an array of unique design schemes and concentrated textures. Less graphic-centric than our Akomplice counterpart, VSOP introduces a feathered overlay pattern for Winter 15 that manifests across a number of pieces including crew necks, elongated hooded sweatshirts, joggers, scallop-bottomed shirts and even lounge shorts. Comfort remains a collection staple which VSOP communicates through supple components and silhouettes that extend and drape. Paired with louder pieces or worn on its own, the collection complements itself well, serving up high-quality off-duty essentials against hidden pockets and pocketed button downs.
