The first photo is the block we’re staying on, I always like staying in a local area, you really get an authentic feel for the culture the second photo is my walk home. As I was walking back from the festival I noticed an invasion. Notice the huge space invader above the shop. This was most definitely the work of French artist named “Space Invader”. He secretly places these characters as well as other retro video game characters on the streets of the world. Each piece is a mosaic of ceramic tiles, you can find his art all over the world, and is my first time seeing a piece in real life. Keep your eyes open, street art is everywhere.

Today we realized the power of our media badge. Their are five different colors to represent five different strengths in the media, the better ranked you are the more access and first class treatment you receive at Cannes film festival. We wanted to make sure we got the most from our badge, after speaking to multiple women at desks we realized we have access to take photos on the red carpet during all the premieres. Why not, lets get it! Today was my first experience with the the major celebs of our time. Check a a small selection of the photos above (Benicio Del Toro, Michael Douglas, and Selma Hyack), as well as more and after the jump.

The AK kids got G on this one. We made sure to get a spot with a kitchen, this way we can make G-ass breakfasts after long nights. The night leading to this breakfast was among the great club nights of our lives. We found ourselves at the VIP Lounge. Among hundreds of beautiful women, an ice rink with ice skating divas, and a revolving dance floor. Our boys from L.A. bought a table and then ended up fighting the bouncers, got nasty, but after holding some fools back we kept partyin’. So, the breakfast was much needed, afterward we roamed to the festival and watched our second premiere, a remake of a 1960’s film titled “The Housemaid”, very well done and my favorite film I’ve seen in months, should release soon, but as it’s a Korean film you may need to hunt it out. Before the premiere we met Alice and Hannah, two soon to be journalists from France, we invited them for a late lunch back at the crib, hamburgers with no ketchup. Check more flicks after the jump.
