Twista rocking Akomplice Champion T

June 7th, 2010

Check out Twista rocking our Champion T in one of his latest fashion shoots.  Perhaps ya’ll remember this cat from his wicked quick verse on Kanye’s “Slow Jamz” or maybe you know all of his “Kamikaze” album by heart, either way: Twista spits hot verses and rocks hot gear.  Holla!

Sneak & Destroy, a hot Australian blog, recently featured our Akomplice Varsity Jacket.  If you haven’t checked this piece out yet, be sure to get down to your local Akomplice retailer to scope it before they’re all sold-out!  Anyway, the dudes down-under at Sneak & Destroy are holding it down for us this summer (err… winter).  We loved their commentary and thought you would too, so we’ve re-posted it.  Peep the pure comedy of their write-up below:

AKOMPLICE VARSITY JACKETS

In America a male athlete (jock) might give his girlfriend (cheerleader) the varsity jacket as a token of his love.  This is considered a sign of a truly intimate relationship as the jacket is an honor to them.  In the event of a breakup it is customary for the girl to return the jacket as a sign of rejection.

Akomplice varsity jackets are now available at Sneak & Destroy.

Akomplice with Backside and The Hundreds at Dodgers’ Game

June 2nd, 2010

Last night we bounced out to a Dodgers’ game with Eric and Jojo from Backside, joining a crew from The Hundreds.  It had been a minute since any of us had been to a MLB game, and we were all mad excited.  The Dodgers were playing the Arizona Diamondbacks, and the game was tight, with no runs scored for the first nine innings.  Finally in the 10th inning, Matt Kemp of the Dodgers slammed a one-run homer deep into the bleachers, to give the Dodgers a 1-0 win over the Diamondbacks.  A few high-fives later, and we were off on our way to dinner at Fred 62’s:  turkey-burgers, chicken-rice soups, and large salads.  All in all: a good time.  More flicks after the jump.
