Check out this lookbook that our Taiwan retailer Afire shot with the tatted “Al Zombie” rockin’ Akomplice.

If you hadn’t noticed, we dropped a new series of snapbacks and tees. One of the more striking pieces within the collection is the WackDonald’s tee, which posts Grimace as a cow in a field ravaged by deforestation. We don’t hold any punches when it comes to matters of the environment, so on the back of the tee there is a print explaining how chain restaurants serve as a major cause of deforestation. Another provoking graphic we just dropped comes in the form of Mickey Mouse cut down by a mouse trap, the seminal piece in an upcoming series we are creating dubbed, “What if they were real?”

Another favorite is the Timeless tee showing a peek into the space-time continuum, stating, “time is an illusion.”  Everything in the pics is available now on our webstore.

Introducing one of the newest members of the Akomplice Crew, Yonas. There is a good chance you have already seen or heard him before.

1. Yonas. Welcome to the family bro! How has working at the flagship store been thus far?

Whaddup! I dig it a lot, very cool atmosphere. Great to see that people still have flavor and good taste in street wear.

2. When was the first time you remember seeing Akomplice?

Damn, my guess is either 2007 or 2008. You guys blessed us, U-N-I, with some goodies for our DunkXchange tour. I rocked the hell out of that Kate Moss shades of blue crew neck.

3. Let’s talk UNI … What’s one of the craziest experiences you had on the road while touring with the group?

I would have to say our time we spent in Japan. The moment I got off the plane, everything felt like I was dreaming. Just to know where I come from, then end up in Japan for a show with a thousand screaming fans was unreal g. You would of thought we were Jackson 5 or The Beatles from the way everyone was acting while we were performing.

4. What’s next for you in your music career?

I just released a mixtape with Mick Boogie called THE MIXTAPE BEFORE BLVCK SWAN THEORY & video for my song “Great Western Forum”. This is all to help promote my sophomore album BLVCK SWAN THEORY coming this summer. Excited to drop my 1st single at the end of this month called “Volvo”, I also have a video for it shot by Jon Augustavo. Look him up, he’s my Seattle fam with a great eye for the lense. 5. What has been you dopest experience working at the flagship so far?

Knowing that I use to rock the Mohawk when it was U-N-I, I never expect people to remember my face without it. Every now & then tourist from Sweden & the UK recognize me & ask if I’m Y-O from U-N-I. Very funny to catch their reaction when I say yes. Other than that, meeting new faces & having random conversations with customers is pretty fun.

The inspiration for our new line was fueled by infusing classic pieces with innovative material choices. A good example of this is our Anorak, which is made of Chambray. Also on display is the nuanced leather detailing, which adorns a selection of our twill jackets. For our t-shirt update, we continued doing what we have been doing for some years now, taking the traditional pocket tee and flipping it with fresh fabrics. For example using red contrasting seersucker, neon punches of orange and green, and the coupe de grace in the flamingo pocket tee. Also in this cut & sew drop we are introducing our second bucket hat. To complete the collection, we included a pair of charcoal washed denim jeans with contrast stitched back pockets.
