Our homies over at Careless-Berlin, which is one of our retailers in Germany, decided to throw a dinner/CD release party for our Summer collection. They got a famous chef to prepare the food and invited the who’s who of Berlin to come through. Below is Felix Keller, the owner of Careless, and his accounts of the night. “Its the 26. of July in Berlin Germany and the new collection, called For the Love of the Californian based label Akomplice arrived at the Careless-Berlin store. Reason enough to invite our 5 star chef and our Dj friend Danetic and do a little launch party at our store. There was the whole Careless family and thier friends. People like That fucking Sara, Eric Starchild, Manuel Mathow, Stefan Semt and Stevo Sphar enjoyed the delicious food and some nice company, while checking out the latest designs of Akomplice. In the meantime everybody listened to the new mix of Dj-Danetic, which is presented by Akomplice & Careless-Berlin and will be released on CD by the end of September 2014. All in all it was a great evening, with nice people, good food & drinks, some outstanding fashion and most of all, a lot of love!”
Many people are curious about our satellite office down in Brazil and what my brother Mike is doing down there. Well I’m not going to tell you the full scoop but I’ll clue you in a little. Yes, he has a Brazilian shorty down there. He found a great crew of guys that we’ve hired to help in the design department of Akomplice. Prior to this, Mike, half owner of Akomplice almost did all of the designing along with a lot of the CEO work of running a brand. A lot for one man to try to pull off. He is still designing a ton but now he sitting more as creative director and doing final touches. In these photos you find Mike DJing and getting the crowd cracking. In honor of the NFL season starting we thought it was fitting to give our boy Stanley Jean-Baptiste, who was just drafted by the New Orleans Saints a shout out. He was spotted at the NFL Draft after-party rocking the AK Think Different Tee.
