Neo39, Pasadena’s hotspot for exclusive kicks, has been holding down Akomplice for way more than a minute and we’re happy to show them some love. After 10 years in business, these guys are still at the top of their game. Neo39’s shoe selection is off the hook, with all sorts of exclusives from Nike, Vans, and more. As Jennifer from Neo39 likes to put it, this shop’s “a little bit of everything: not so hood, not too high-end… polished and sophisticated.” We agree. Thanks to Alex and Chris (shown here) for the store tour, plus a big shout-out to the entire Neo39 Crew! More photos of the shop after the jump. Akomplice gets exclusive footage on Alstyle factory tour
Always wondering where our ill t-shirts come from?? Well now you know… Last week Mike & Patrick explored the factory of t-shirt manufacturing company, Alstyle. Alstyle is one of the main suppliers for our t-shirts, as well as the supplier for many of the other brands in the streetwear industry: DC, Vans, and The Hundreds. We have our more complex shirts custom-made, but Alstyle shirts continue to be the ‘go-to’ blank t-shirts for most of our designs. The tour left Mike and Patrick blown away: the science, complexity, machinery, and organization were top-notch. After all, this place is the 2nd largest t-shirt producer in the U.S.! Thanks to Jim Gordon for being an excellent tour guide, and of course special thanks to Caroline from Alstyle for making it happen and for all of the help along the way! Be sure to check out the in-depth tour footage after the jump.

Urbane, our retailer in Steamboat Springs, is hosting their second Annual Skate Deck Art Show on Friday May 7th from 5 to 9pm. Blank skate decks are available @ Urbane for $15 plus a $15 deposit that will be refunded when you return your skate deck for the Art show. It is $10 to enter your own Skate deck.
