100% OF PROFITS DONATED TO STANDING ROCK:

Over the past weeks the Akomplice crew has been reaching out to help support the Standing Rock movement. Last weekend we organized 1000’s of apples to be sent to the Standing Rock community kitchens. Today we release an AKOMPLICE project aimed to inspire unity for this cause and all causes related to human rights and environmental protection. The profits will be used to help the protest continue through the winter by supplying items to winterize the Oceti Sakowin Camp. The money will also be used to purchase food and kitchen supplies for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.

Presented for the first look is an Akomplice/VSOP lookbook from Buenos Aires, shot and directed by Ana Beatriz Mayr and Claudia Beatriz Smith. The lookbook features pieces from our Autumn range, worn by creative Nico Barraza and Colombian cohort Andres Sanmartin. The photo journal was shot against the historic Parque de la Memoria in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The photos set aim to accentuate the geometric architecture and the shadows created therefrom, giving focus to each piece and look. The range includes woven and knit tops, fleece knit bottoms, and a pair of fleece overalls. Many of the fabrics displayed are crafted with a hand wash / dye treatment, giving each piece slightly different characteristics. The majority of the collection is made using organic cotton / recycled plastic bottle polyester, and is almost entirely Fair Trade certified, assuring worker and environmental protection.

This delivery touts an almost 100% organic cotton, recycled polyester, and Fair Trade certified range of dress shirts, fleece / jersey knit tops, blended bottoms, and some home / travel accessories.
