Mike Liberty’s design trip through Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina was the inspiration behind the recent Akomplice collection. Much of the range is themed around the juxtaposition between the inner and outer journey for happiness. A standout piece is the Pepe Mujica tee, which was conceived after Mike met Uruguay’s previous president Jose (Pepe) Mujica. 90% of profits from the sale of this tee will be donated to Jose Mujica’s charity of choice. The graphics collection also showcases stabs at fast fashion and how the industry often preys on human insecurities in order to sell products. Keep your third eye open. We are proud to announce the launch of our Holiday VSOP collection. The collection touts nearly 100% organic cotton and Fair Trade craftsmanship. The range consists of jackets, woven tops, fleece lined bottoms, and specialty textured knits. The accessory collection showcases a new frontier for the VSOP brand, with the unveiling of two custom created scents, both using 100% natural essential oils as their base. See below our just released winter Camo Capsule collection. Camouflage is timeless, however, it’s often re-created with the same aesthetic. For this reason, we wanted to innovate a camo that took steps into uncharted territory. We created an oversized and subdued camouflage pattern for a flannel-lined heavy weight trench coat and a down winter jacket. The oversized and subdued concepts are carried through to the t-shirts of this collection. The standout being a thick knit camo tee that is made with heavy gauge yarn, a first of its kind, pushing the idea of what a camo t-shirt can be. Evolution through innovation. For our latest collaboration release we tap the creative musician/artist GRiZ. The project features a nylon baseball jacket aptly titled “The Love Jacket.” For the lookbook we decided to show a behind the scenes look at one of GRiZ’s sold out shows, taking you through the catacombs of the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. More than product and a photo story, the project serves as a protest to the current political state of affairs, with “LOVE” emblazoned across the back, and “Unity Gang” across the left bicep.
