Grant Kwiecinski, better know as GRiZ, is a longstanding proponent of Akomplice, so it was only a matter of time before we teamed up. He came to us with the idea of fashioning a custom hooded varsity jacket, inspired by the Akomplice jacket he rocked religiously on tour. This collaboration was a true meeting of the minds. GRiZ weighed in on every detail of the jacket’s design, while we sourced materials and ensured all embroidery and appliqués were flawless. We both played the role of designer on this one, and our mutual output is a wool based, vegan sleeved varsity jacket complete with a zip-off hood. In addition to the jacket, the collaborative pack will include a USB dog tag that contains an unreleased track from GRiZ, as well as his full discography and some bonus Akomplice material.
The varsity jacket + dog tag will release on our webstore March 15th with a subsequent release on GRiZ’s website March 17th. The pack is priced at $140 and will not see a second production.
