Akomplice Season 8 Release Party: Bogota, Colombia
June 27th

Colombia was crazy! This was a group shot after our show ended. The crowd stayed around for hours after Flow finished and were going crazy. They were pulling on our clothes, jumping up on stage and wanting to take photos with all of us. Also in this shot is our boy Shaq and one of the models.

The party had performances by Main Flow and Young Royalz Click. Flow had a huge following in Colombia.

The AK crew was on stage doing the backup for Flow.

DJ Boggie Roc spinning at Club Revolution the night of our Release Party. Boggie setup the show along with many other things including an autograph signing with MainFlow. . . and even Mike signed a few autographs. Haha.

Just an overview shot showing how many people packed out the club for our release party.

We showed up at the club at about 9:00pm the night of the show and there were already mad people waiting to get in. This was the line that people were fighting to get through.

Of course we had to have our AK Fashion Show. The models and girls down there in general were just bangin'. Before the show, we arrived to the club planning to practice the fashion show with our models, but because of how many people had showed up early, we weren't able to practice it up on the stage. All the models were in a small VIP room under the stage where we held the practice.

The models rocked the AK well in front of all the fans. Even our boy Matt from Vital Films
had to get in close for a shot.

We traveled up into the hills above Bogota to see the city and to shoot some of MainFlow’s "Drugs, War & Crime" video. This was a food stand where a local Colombian was roasting corn.

Mike was addicted to food on this trip, trying everything. I think he had a couple corn on the cobs.

We had to find some local skaters to show us some dope spots and just to chill with. This is Henry - one of the top skaters in Bogota - board sliding his hand rail. We rolled around these skate spots with about 10-12 of us and it wasn’t long before we got kicked out by security.

Another local skater in Bogota.

Akomplice In Cartagena, Colombia with Main Flow
June 15th

After throwing our release party in Caracas we jumped on a plane and headed over to Cartagena, Colombia. Cartagena is located on the coast where we were able to relax on the beach. We rented this nice 3bd apartment that we we called the "Real World" Crib, it had an amazing view.

Akomplice Summer Vacation: Caracas, Venezuela
June 9-13th

We arrived in Caracas, Venezuela on Monday and our show was Thursday. First day we awoke on the hillside of Venezuela and I (Mike) taught Flow the fundamentals of an ollie.

Then we mobbed over to the club “En Vivo,” starting the fashion show casting. Most the ladies were ridiculous, so it wasn’t easy choosing the Top 8.

Our Crew consisted of Matt Hobbs, Cael Jones, MainFlow, Blake Peterson, Patrick McCarney, Oyantay (Local DJ) and me (Mike). We mobbed in this Mercedes van the whole time. It felt like a tour.

A few days in, we met up with some of the local skaters of Caracas. These kids had swagger. It was dope to jump into the local skate scene. During the day we skated and at night we went to a spot to drink some beers. After that we went salsa dancing. Shit was nice.

This shit was nice too.

Amazing.

The night of the party, we mobbed in around 1:00am (since the party started around 12:00am and went until 6:00am).
The club was packed, although I think everyone was too busy socializing with the models to take photos,
but we did come out with one pic of the main dance floor...

... and one of Boogie Rock (Colombian DJ). The fashion show was a smash.
MainFlow killed the performance, and I (Mike) did his backups. Maybe the nicest night of the whole trip.

Last but not least, here's Patrick postin' up with his girl in Caracas.
