Akomplice & Fila NYC Lookbook

On the heels of their footwear project, Akomplice and Fila hit the streets of New York City to showcase their collaborative apparel capsule. Shot as a complement to their Yucatan based lookbook, this visual narrative invites the viewer on a visceral tour of New York, which marries Fila sportswear with the Akomplice aesthtic. Modeled by burgeoning Brooklyn-based hip-hop artist, rMell and visual artist, DaRaun, the lookbook helps illustrate the versatility of the garments which flow seamlessly between the natural jungle of the Yucatan and the concrete jungle of New York, both of which happen to be where the collection was designed and conceived.

Shot by photographer Atticus Radley, the lookbook not only captures the collection, it illustrates rMell’s creative process as inspired by the city. Continuing their commitment to sustainably sourced, environmentally conscious production, the collection incorporates USA grown and organic cotton across an array of short and long sleeved tees as well as hats and hoodies that bear both brand’s logos.

All styles are available now on the Akomplice Webstore in limited quantities.
